This wedding cake we made last summer for a wedding in Madras, Oregon. It was Devil's Food cake filled with Bittersweet Chocolate Ganache. Frosted in French Buttercream and had simple pearl necklace piping at each layer. Fresh Blue Hydrangeas and Pink Rosebuds cascade down the side.

This is a wedding cake we made for Amanda Taylor. It had a modern clean line with baby tulips and clover green accents.

This is the cake we did for Guy & Marta Moser for their 50th wedding anniversary. It was a reproduction of their original wedding cake. Marta had carefully saved the topper and the pretty swan tier lifters. This cake was a labor of love for two of our favorite customers. I think Katrina & I really captured the spirit of the original wedding cake. The next photo is the original wedding cake with Guy giving his bride a big smooch:)

This little beauty is the most popular birthday cake we make. I probably bake at least four a week. This cake is covered in French Buttercream and topped in crystalized Pansies & Primroses.

This is my brown-eyed-sugar-dumpling, aka my daughter Rachel. For her bridesmaid's tea I made her an Australian Pavlova. This dessert is a Tea Parlour favourite and was perfect for my "Aussie" daughter and her bridesmaids to have for their tea party.

Here's Rachel and her husband Joel with the wedding cake we made for them. I have another photo below.

This is a very popular size cake for showers. My good friend Brook ordered this cake for a wedding shower she threw for a country girl who loves wheat and sunflowers. For a bit of whimsey, I tucked tiny little pigs among the flowers. (The bride-to-be had also showed pigs at the county fair since she was a little girl.)

Here's a princess cake for 5-year-old princess tea party at the Tea Parlour.

Here's a wedding cake we did for a lovely wedding at the Balch Hotel. A great venue for a wedding! The entire wedding party & guests all stayed at the historic hotel and got married in the garden.

This is a very large cake, even though it appears small in this photo. The bride & groom were both involved in the design of this modern cake. The whole family was a delight to work for and we all loved the final result. Best of all the cake was delicious.  :)

This is the first wedding cake I ever made. It was for a dear young friend of ours. She wanted it simple and decorated only with red fruit. I used strawberries and raspberries and I placed a few red rose buds on the top as well. It was a sweet success. Alan & I delivered it to downtown Portland in the rain, so it was a bit of an adventure with this dear little wedding cake.

This is wedding cake for a wedding at the Balch Hotel. The cake was German Chocolate filled with Bittersweet Ganache and Nutella Cream. Covered in Italian Meringue Buttercream, the cake melted in your mouth with amazingly delicious flavours. The whole Balch wedding experience with back-in-time charm, had the perfect finish with this yummy cake:)

This is baby shower cake. Her Gandma wanted a poppy seed cake filled with lemon curd and covered with buttercream. Simple yet elegant.

Rachel & Joel's wedding cake. It had 7 dozen roses!, French Dragees, and French Buttercream. The cake was Rachie's childhood favorite, marble cake, and the topper was Funfetti. The whole cake was filled with Nutella cream and Bittersweet chocolate ganache. This one was a labor of love.

Yet another Tea Parlour birthday cake.

A Tea Parlour Pavlova drizzled in Passionfruit. This one was ordered for a Hgh Tea. Come to the Tea Parlour & I'll tell you the story of how Australia came to have this national treasure of a dessert. Better yet, learn to bake one yourself in one of my cooking classes.

A birthday cake we made for a sweet sixteen birthday party.

Choclolate ganache cupcakes with crystalized pansies. I made them for my niece Meggan's baby shower. My sister Lynn threw this party at the Tea Parlour, it was good fun.

I made this yummy chocolate ganache cake was for our daughter Melissa's baby shower. Melissa used to work with me in the Tea Parlour before she moved to Texas with her  husband Christian. She loves chocolate. Our customers still talk about her triple chocolate scones!

This is an action shot of me and my dear little helper Katrina decorating a cake for the "Last Days Of Jesus" fund raiser.

This is a birthday cake that Katrina & I made for.... you guessed it Audrey:)

This is a baby shower cake we made for a sweet little baby girl.

This is a wedding cake we made for a wedding reception at the Tea Parlour. A yummy finish to their four-course meal.
